Validation of Tamyb10D and TaDFR-B Associated with Pre-harvest Sprouting Tolerance and Screening the Genotypes with Higher PHS Tolerance in Chinese Wheats

Abstract: The aim of this study was to assess the efficiency of two markers (Tamyb10D and TaDFR-B) associated with PHS tolerance and identify the genotypes with higher PHS tolerance in two sets of white-grained germplasm(103 cultivars and 78 cultivars existing in two sets of germplasm).The results indicated that the STS marker Tamyb10D was effective to selecting PHS resistance varieties,but TaDFR-B was not associated with PHS resistance in white-grained wheat.Combination with the result of Tamyb10D,germination index and previous reported result of Vp1B3,in 103 materials,total five resistance genotypes were selected out,they were Langzhongbaimai,Wanxianbaimaizi,Peilingxuxubaimai,Chuan 362 and Xiaobaiyuhua which haploids were Tamyb10D/Vp-1Bb,Tamyb10D/Vp-1Bb,Tamyb10D/Vp-1Bb,Tamyb10D/Vp-1Bb and Tamyb10D/Vp-1Bc,respectively;in another set of germplasm (78 materials),total ten resistance genotypes were selected out,they were Xinong 6028,Kequn,Bainong 3217,Kaifeng 124,Zhengzhou 742,Xichang 5762,Xiaoyan 5,Kezhuang,Xuyue 6 and Wunong 99,which haploids were Tamyb10D/Vp-1Bc.
