Acta Agriculturae Boreali-Sinica flipped to open access in 2014. All articles are immediately and permanently free for readers to read and download upon publication. The full-text articles published from the 1st issue of 1962 have also been converted to open access works, which are available on this website free of charge. All open access articles are freely accessible online under the terms of Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND license. Details about CC BY-NC-ND can be found at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/.

Copyright
All authors are required to sign the Copyright Assignment Agreement, by which authors transfer the copyright and related property rights of the article to the journal. The copyright of the published article belongs to the Editorial Office of Acta Agriculturae Boreali-Sinica, which includes but is not limited to the rights of compilation, distribution, reproduction, translation, online publishing and dissemination, and licensing those rights to domestic and foreign literature retrieval systems or databases. The Editorial Office exercises these rights to make articles freely available to the public under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. Authors retain the right of personal use and reproduction for the article. They can spread or make use of the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License, and have other rights specified in the Copyright Law.

All journal articles published since 1962 can be downloaded from this website free of charge, and are open access. The full texts of articles published by this journal are also accessible on platforms including the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and China National Archives of Publications and Culture.

Article Publishing Charge

To provide open access, Acta Agriculturae Boreali-Sinica has an article publishing charge (APC), which needs to be paid by the authors or by their research funder or institution. Authors of accepted manuscripts should pay CNY 500 per printed page and pay a reviewing fee of CNY 500 for each paper.

The Notification of Publication Charge will be emailed to the first author and corresponding author after final review approval but before paper publication. Please be sure to pay for your manuscript on time and contact the Editor-in-Charge if you have any difficulties (you can find the contact information in the "Contact Us" section on the website). All submissions will undergo the same review process, and editorial decisions will never be based on a payment of the article publishing charge.
