History of the Publication

Acta Agriculturae Boreali-Sinica (AABS), formerly known as Acta Agriculturae Hebei, was founded by Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences and Agricultural Association of Hebei in 1962. Acta Agriculturae Hebei was published quarterly, the purposes were to reflect the agricultural research achievements, hold academic discussions, exchange working experiences, promote research work, improve academic level and better serve socialist construction.

In 1986, the journal was co-hosted by the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the six provinces of Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Henan, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia, and its name was modified to Acta Agriculturae Boreali-Sinica.
