Submission and Review Process

1. Manuscript Submission: To submit your manuscript for the first time, you will need to register an account at Author Login (http://www.hbnxb.net/EN/home). Once you have registered, you can log in to submit your manuscript. For subsequent submissions, simply log in to your account.

2. Received: You will get an email from the system confirming that your submission to Acta Agriculurae Boreali-Sinica was successful after submission. Once the editor receives your manuscript, it will be numbered and you will receive another email called 'Manuscript Receipt Notice', indicating that the submission process is complete.

3. Review:

Initial Review: The editor will review the received manuscript to ensure it is in line with the aims and scope, meets writing standards, has all the necessary elements of the paper, and uploads a copyright agreement. All submitted manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism with a maximum allowed similarity of 15%. The editors will submit an initial review opinion: revision or rejection. Manuscripts that are rejected will undergo a rereview process, and those that are deemed suitable will proceed to peer review.

Peer Review: Double-blind review. Manuscripts are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess their novelty, scientific content, and publication value. Manuscripts rejected by the reviewers will undergo a rereview process. For papers that suggest publication or further peer review after revision, the editors will submit them to the revision process. Authors are expected to enhance the manuscript according to the review reports and submit a detailed response to reviewer for revision.

Rereview: The executive editor will assess the manuscript again, make further revisions, and provide assessment opinions after improvement before submitting it for final review.

Final Review: The editor-in-chief makes the final decision based on the review comments and the innovativeness of the paper.
