Abstract: The genetic diversities were studied using 30 SRAP primer pairs in 9 cultivated watermelon lines,3 American lines,6 African wild lines. The results implied that the polymorphic percentage between cultivated lines and wild lines was 92.11%, the polymorphic percentage in wild lines was 34.11%, and in cultivated lines was 21.05%.The bands of American lines were mostly the same as cultivated lines'and some specific bands were amplied. The results showed that SRAP and EST-SSR were highly effective and feasible on watermelon studying.

Key words: Wild watermelon, Cultivated watermelon, Polymorphic, SRAP, EST-SSR
