Abstract: In this paper, the pathogeny of tomatopink-mold rot,a new disease appearing on tomato in Tianjin, was identified toTrichothecium roseum(Bull)Link. And the effects of medium nutrients, temperature and pH value on the mycelium growth and conidial yield ofTrichothecium roseumwere also studied. The results showed that the mycelia of Trichothecium roseum grew rapidly at the culture of corn meal agar,V-8 vegetable juice agar, oat meal agar, potato glucoseagar and rye powder infusion medium. The conidial yield ofTrichothecium roseumwas higher at the culture of corn meal agar and rose bengal agar. The mycelium growth of Trichothecium roseum was favourable at the temperature 15-25℃,while the conidial was suitable at 20-30 ℃ and the suitable pH value was 5-9
