Abstract: In order to study the effect of spraying coronatine on winter wheat, using three winter wheat varie-ties,Jimai 22,Liangxing 99 and Changwu 134 under field conditions with no irrigations, the 1 μmol/L coronatine were sprayed respectively at overwintering, reviving and flowering stage, and the effects of coronatine on the morpho-logical and physiological characteristic were examined. The results showed that regardless of variety, spraying coro-natine could improve in varying degrees the relative water content, chlorophyll content, praline content(PRO),solu-ble sugar and the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD),and reduce the malonaldehyde(MDA)content. Comparing three spraying stage, thegreen stage is better than the others.
