Abstract: Under simulative drought stress with sand culture, spraying leaves with Spm(1 mmol/L) could increase relative water content, but decrease relative membrane permeability, thus enhance drought-resistance of wheat seedlings. However, spraying leaves with MGBG(1 mmol/L), an inhibitor of Spd and Spm, had opposite effects. The contents of endogenous Put, Spd and Spm in wheat seedling were stimulated by Spm treatment. But by MGBG treatment, only put was stimulated while the contents of Spd and Spm were reduced.
