Abstract: The effective resistance genes of 34 wheat lines are identified by comparing their resistance spectra with those of lines with known resistance genes, after inoculation with wheat powdery mildew isolates with different virulence genes. One line has Pm2+6,7 lines have Pm4a,ten lines have Pm4b,two lines have Pm5 and four lines have identical resistance with Xiao Bai Dong Mai,which has a special resistance gene. The spectra of other eight lines are different from those of all lines with known genes used in this paper and new resistance types may be identified from these lines.

Key words: Wheat, Erysiphe graminis f.sp.tritici, Resistance gene
