Abstract: Some characteristics of seed germination and growing were improved with suitable concentration of penicillin and ampicillin, such as germination percentage, germination energy, germination index, activity in-dex,amylase activity, chlorophyll content of seedling, the length of seedling and the dry weigh were increased. The ideal concentration of penicillin was 40 IU/L,and 800 mg/L of ampicillin was best.
