Identification of a RAPD Marker Linked to Orange-red Internal Head Gene in Chinese Cabbage

Abstract: RAPD marker linked to orange-red internal head gene (Or) in Chinese Cabbage was carried out. Among 500 Operon primers screened,a specific DNA band OPB01-850 was proved to be tightly linked to the orange-red internal head gene by bulked segregating analysis(BSA) with doubled haploid population.The genetic distance between marker OPB01-845 and Or gene was measured as 3.8 cM and LOD was 19.05.
