Abstract: A pot culture study to select P-tolerant isolate of VA mycorrhizal fungi was conducted. Two isolates of Glomus mosseae, which were collected from Xinjiang and Beijing, were inoculated into soil samples of different P levels. Soybean was grown for 2 months. The results showed that isolate93had more tolerance to applied P. When the content of available P in soil inoculated with isolate93reached 150 ppm, the colonization rate in root did not decreased significantly and the content of total P in seedlings had an increase of 70% in comparison to uninoculated control seedlings.
