Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze the association of blood protein polymorphism with some economic traits in the sliver blue mink.Three blood protein loci of sliver blue mink breeds in China, which included protease inhibitor-1,protease inhibitor-2,Vitamin D binding protein(GC)and Transferrin(Tf) were detected by method of vertical polyacrylamide gelelectrophoresis. The results showed that GC loci in mink were monomorphic,Tf and Pi-1 loci were polymorphic,(Pi-2 was not detected clearly),General linear model was founded for the selection of biochemical genetic marker.Least squares variance analysis showed that there was significant difference for Pi-1 loci of sliver blue mink and weight(P=0.013<0.05),Pi-1(P=0.029<0.05)、Tf(P=0.039<0.05)loci of sliver blue mink and length.Pi-1 AA,Tf AC were the high yielding genetypes of sliver blue mink. For biochemical genetic marker assisted selection used in silver blue mink breeding to provide reliable basis.

Key words: Silver blue mink, Blood protein polymorphism, Economic character, Marker assisted selection
