Abstract: There are significant differences in the shape of pollen grains, the ornamentation of pollen grains and the structure of leaf epidermis among wheat, triticale and Denmark rye. Such characteristics of triticale are between those of wheat and Denmark rye. So, the characteristics described above may be used for taxonomy for genera and species. They are also of significance in identification of new species and determination of kinship in different species.

Key words: Wheat, Triticale, Rye, Pollen grain, Leaf epidermis structure, Electron microscope
