Abstract: Polymorphism of DQA gene coding regions in Bamei pigs were analyzed by cloning and sequencing, physicochemical characteristics, protein structures and functions were predicted through the bioinformatics tools. The results showed that DQA gene encoded 255 amino acids, there were 14 nucleotide and 11 amino acid substitutions in DQA gene coding regions, and it was showed high polymorphism in exon2 region.Encoding product of DQA gene was a kind of instable and soluble protein, the putative secondary structure of DQA was mixed, and putative protein tertiary structure was consisted of alpha helix, extended strand, beta turn and random coil. The putative result of DQA protein function showed that the odds of signal transducer, receptor, stress response, immune response and growth factor were higher. These results will provide a basis for the study of molecular breeding in disease resistance and economic traits related gene screening.
