Studies on Irrigation and Fertilization Technology after Sowing of Cabbage Plug Seedlings

Abstract: The effects of different types,concentrations and frequencies of fertilization after sowing on growth and strong seedlings formation were studied with cabbage Zhonggan No.11 on the basis of adding start fertilizer,stem diameter,dry weight,chlorophyll content and root activity were determined.A better treatment for irrigation and fertilization after sowing of cabbage plug seedlings was that 17-5-17 fertilizer was used with 25 mg/kg N from cotyledon to two true leaf flat,17-5-17 fertilizer was used with 50 mg/kg N from two true leaf to four true leaf flat,17-5-17 fertilizer was used with 75 mg/kg N from four true leaf to six true leaf flat,frequency of fertilizing was each application.Strong index,chlorophyll content and root activity were higher than other treatments.It was proposed that low concentration and multiple frequency fertilization should be used to cultivate top quality cabbage plug seedlings.
