Nucleotide Sequence Analysis of 3' End Sequences of Potato Virus S-Inner Mongolia

Abstract: To know the 3' end region sequences of PVS-IM (Inner Mongolia isolate),3' end region sequences of PVS were obtained by 3'RACE whose sense primer was designed according to conserved domain of translation enhancer of PVS sub-genome.PVS-IM belonged to PVSO(Ordinary) strain by the comparison of its nucleic acid sequences with other 3' end region of PVS obtained and the results could provide the basis for the prevention of the targeted diseases and predicting yield loss.The results also showed that amino acid sequence of 3' end of coat protein and translate enhancer region of sub-genome could also be regarded as index properties because of their enough differences.These differences laid a foundation to the research of the function of PVS genome and mechanism of action of PVS.
