Abstract: Camellia oleifera is important chinese native woody tree species, and well-bred breeding is primary to selection breeding. In order to further explore the genetic diversity of Camellia oleifera for selecting high-quality seed,in this study for a total of 52 varieties with 4 families,SRAP-PCR of Camellia oleifera was applicated in the basis of optimization system.9 pairs of SRAP primers had been selected from 105 pairs of SRAP primers.POPGENE3.2 and NTSYS2.10 were used to detect the genetic diversity among 52 Camellia oleifera cultivars, and total 191 sites were obtained,The size of the sites being between 100 bp and 700 bp,the average bands per SRAP primer pair being 21.2,and the ratio of polymorphism was 100.00%.Nei index number from 0.333 7 to 0.336 4 and Shannon index number was from 0.503 8 to 0.545 0.Genetic diversity index information indicated that plentiful genetic diversity was existed in this 4 families. The study is expected to provide some technical foundations for the study of the genetic diversity of C.oleifera resources.
