PCR-SSCP Analysis of Genetic Polymorphisms of BoLA-DRB3 Exon 2 Gene in Chinese Holstein

Abstract: In the present work,genetic polymorphisms of BoLA-DRB3 * exon2 gene in 223 Chinese Holstein were detected by PCR-SSCP. In total,18 SSCP patterns were identified and the frequency of each pattern within the herd was determined. The frequency of pattern FG was the highest which was 0. 125 6,the next frequency of pattern HH was 0. 112 1,the frequency of pattern ML was the lowest which was 0. 004 5. We found that SSCP patterns of different families were specific. Differences of significance analysis indicates that,D alleles has a significant negative effects on 305 days milk yield and 305 days milk protein content,305 days milk fat content of ME genotype significantly lower than other individuals. Preliminary analysis result revealed high genetic polymorphism of exon2 region of BoLA-DRB3 gene in Chinese Holstein.
