Abstract: For an overall understanding of the whole genome of 4 representative variations,re-sequencing was used for high-throughput sequencing with 12 depth to detect its variations. By comparing the genes with non-synonymous SNP,InDel and SV in CDS,the variation numbers and types of two variations on culm shape, Phyllostachys edulis f. tubaeformis and Phyllostachys edulis f. pachyloen were similar, and the other two variations on culm color, Phyllostachys edulis f. luteosulcata and Phyllostachys edulis f. huamozhu were similar. And multiple genes occurred multiple types of mutations simultaneously. By comparing and annotating the mutant genes with GO,COG,KEGG and other functional databases,a total of 1 739 genes involved in cell wall and cell membrane synthesis,501 cytoskeletal construction-related genes,1 785 transcription factors,1 324 signal transduction genes,104 gibberellins and 76 hormone genes,1 938 chlorophyll synthesis related genes,73 carotenoids synthetic metabolism related genes and 68 anthocyanin synthesis regulation genes were obtained. These genes play an important role in the regulation of bamboo culm shape and color.
