Abstract: This study is based drought years and mid-year water, from studies of 40 different varieties of winter wheat, and the nitrogen-efficient varieties were selecte.the water use efficiency and nitrogen uptake and utilization, the difference was significant, the results showed that 40 varieties of two-year yield, water use efficiency, nitrogen productivity, nitrogen use efficiency and harvest index was significant difference, nitrogen productivity in drought years an average of 17.88 kg/kg,mid-year water year 20.56 kg/kg, nitrogen use efficiency and harvest index for two years basically the same, respectively 24.25% and 81.75%.There was a positive relationship between nitrogen productivity and water use efficiency,The coefficient of determination R2 =0.977 9***; under nitrogen use efficiency can be 40 varieties were divided into three major class, high nitrogen use efficiency in five varieties of goods were 27.50 kg/kg
