Abstract: In this study, the wheat root meristems were treated by different concentrations and treatment times of Oryzalin.Experiment results revealed that each concentration and treatment time could induce the cells to abnormal metaphase division.Chromosome-bridge,multipolar,rings,laggards,chromosome doubling, polymerization and micronuclei were observed. In these treatments, the rate of chromosome doubling and micronuclei were highest; The influence of treatment time inducing chromosomal aberration was more significantly than that of concentration.
