Abstract: In order to research on different irrigation technology on production of winter wheat and find the most appropriate volume of water, the author did an experiment which used three different trials(sufficient drip irrigation, appropriate amount drip irrigation, flood irrigation) in the field in Quzhou county,Hebei Province. Such Results as follow:the range of soil moisture on winter wheat stage in the depth from 0-20 cm is the largest, the deeper, the smaller. The range of soil moisture in the depth from 40-60 cm is the smallest;in the same depth, soil moisture of drip irrigation applied is smaller than flood irrigation. Roots of winter wheat mainly distribute in the depth between 0-40 cm,the amount of roots under drip irrigation are larger than flood irrigation;with the depth becomes higher, the amount of roots are smaller, while the decreasing trend under drip irrigation is faster;there was no significant difference on biomass at flowering stage,SPAD,yield, grain number per spike,1000-grain weight in the three trials; panicles per square of sufficient drip irrigation is notable higher than that appropriate drip irrigation.
