Abstract: In order to approach the sibship of the long-keeping tomato lok, a sel-f bred line 97-114, two var-i eties of ssp.cultum Brezh, two varieties of ssp.subspontaneum Brezh, and a var.eupimpinellifolium variety of ssp.Plimpinellifolium Brezh were studied, samplings were taken at different developmentaLstages. It was proved that the long-keeping tomato lok was a mutant of cultivated subspecies and the relationship with wild subspecies was far away. Moreover, at one of 8 developmentaLstages, the zymogram patteras of lok was differ-ent from that of the line 97-114.T his could show the result of gene mutation.
