Relationship Between the Albinism of Somatic Embryo and Plant Regeneration in Gossypium hirsutum L.

Abstract

Abstract: It was noticed that there existed albinism in all of four development stages of cotton somatic embryoglobular,heart,torpedo and cotyledon stage.In the maturity date,albinotic cotyledon somatic embryos growed more quickly and had a higher frequence of plant regeneration than green cotyledon ones in SH and MS plantforming media.
