Abstract: The salt-tolerance variants of wheat were screened and the salt-tolerance lines were obtained by adding NaCI into the medium in the anther culture. The results of observation for 5 generations showed that about 25 percent of the lines could stably propagate their salt-tolerance ability to their progenies. So far a lot of salt-tolerance. germplasm and lines that could be used in wheat production had been obtained by this method. A new approch for breeding salt-tolerance cultivars of crops was provided in this study.
