Abstract: Zinc(Zn) is one of the essential microelements for the plant growing development. And it is closely related to wheat grain quality and dietary health. With Chang 5864,Jimai 20 and Zhongpulvmai No. 1 as field materials under common ways of cultivation and management, the accumulation and distribution of Zn in aboveground plant were discussed in this paper. The main results were as follows: During the growing initial period, organs over-ground plant had higher Zn concentration. Along with the development of wheat,Zn concentration in organs tended to decrease, while Zn accumulation in aboveground plants tended to ascend, and the increasing trend could be described as slow from three leaves stage to upstanding stage, rapid from upstanding stage to early filling stage, and mild afterwards. The maximum accumulation velocity of Zn appeared from jointing stage to heading stage. At terminal filling stage,Zn accumulation in aboveground plant was 141. 772 μg per stalk on average. And among all the aboveground parts, the highest Zn concentration and distribution rate was found in grains. As far as Zn contribution rate to grain, stem was the highest. Among these three varieties,Chang 5864 had the highest Zn accumulation in aboveground plant and grains because of its stronger Zn absorption capacity during the later growth stage. The highest Zn harvest index in grains was found in Jimai 20,which was 0. 677
