Abstract: The simulation models for maize photosynthetic production dynamic were firstly established based on both the theory of "matter-energy transform-energy balance" and the fundamental principia of crop physiolog-ical-ecology and agro-meteorology, by means of computer simulation technology and math-physics method. The models, based on datum from our field experiments and others maize regional experiments, concerned physio-logical processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, assimilate distribution among organs and accumulation of dry matter in maize. Then maize yield formation simulation models were developed based on our established pho-tosynthetic production dynamic simulation models. Verified by the datum from field experiments with varieties Yedan no.13 and Suyu no. 9 that were widely cultivated over Jiangsu province of China, these models gave rea-sonable simulation precision.
