Abstract: During 1997-1999, research on six varieties of wheat was carried out to study the correlation between tiller yielding and IAA, (ZR+Z) by ELISA. The results showed that tillering characters of different varieties were closely correlated with the ratio of IAA/(ZR+Z). In tillering process, IAA and (ZR+Z) in different varieties were distinct to another. To spring wheat, high IAA/(ZR+Z) in tillering stage was benefit to tiller, and to winter wheat, low IAA/(ZR+Z) was benefit to tiller.

Key words: Wheat, Tiller, IAA, ZR+Z
