Genetic DiveRsity Analysis of IRis lactea vaR.chinensis Accessions by ISSR Technology

Abstract: Genetic diversity of 20 Iris lactea Pall.var.chinensis ( Fisch.) Koidz.,which were collected from 4 provinces or autonomous regions in northern China, was analyzed using inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) meth-od.303 bands were amplified by 14 screened polymorphic primers, of which 241 bands were polymorphic.Percent-age of polymorphic bands ( PPB ) was about 77.29%.The range of the genetic similarity coefficient ( GS ) value was 0.340 2~0.824 7 and showed larger scale of distribution, and showed further that they have the rich genetic diversity.20 accessions of I.lactea were divided into 3 groups at 0.587 6 of GS value using the unweighted pair-group method with arithmetic means ( UPGMA).The results obtained from UPGMA were consisted with the princi-pal component analysis ( PCA), and indicated that the genetic distance of 20 accessions of I.lactea was correlated with the geographical distance.
