Study on Physiological Traits of Drought Resistance for Transgenic Cotton Cultivar Hengke Cotton 369

Abstract: Using the check variety DP99B of current-year in Hebei province cotton regional trials as the comparison,we studied the Heng ke cotton 369 with the physiological characteristics of drought resistance,under be rich in water and drought in the two kinds of conditions. The result showed that: the dehydration rate of in vitro leaves in Heng ke cotton 369 was lower. Under the arid deficit,the change of leaf moisture content was smaller. The proline's content increased many,the content of superoxide dismutase (SOD) increased much. The test showed that Heng ke cotton 369 had a strong drought resistance compared with the comparison DP99B.
