Isolation and Antiviral Effect of the Strain Actinomyces Ys.03

Abstract: 306 Actinomyces strains were isolated from soil samples and 107 strains were proved to be antagonistic to indicator bacterium(Bacillus cerea)by agarblock rational screening method.The strain Ys.03, whose fermentation contains inhibitor to plant virus was obtained.The antibiotic produced by the strain was proved to be able to prevent and cure tobacco mosaci virus diseases.
