Abstract: Fluency of activated charcoal on isolated microspore culture in Chinese cabbage was studied. The results showed that NLN-13 liquid medium with activated charcoal(0.5 g/L)was obviously better in frequency of microspore-derived embryos and frequency of regenerated plants.Frequency of microspore-derived embryos in N4 and N8 was increased 19 and 66.5 times.Isolated microspores from 24 varieties of Chinese cabbage were cultured in NLN-13 liquid medium with activated charcoal(0.5 g/L),20 varieties were produced microspore derived embryos.Embryo yield per bud(frequency microspore-derived embryos)was from 0.4 to 86.7.Microspore-derived embryos on B5medium with 6-BA 0.2mg/L and NAA 0.02 mg/L and activated charcoal 0.5 g/L and 3% sucrose and 1%agar is good to regenerated plants.
