Abstract: In this study,Longdong(strong drought-resistance)and BL-02-329(weak drought-resistance)were chosen as experimental material to study the change of four endogenous hormones in the leaves of alfalfa under drought stress. The results of study on endogenous hormones content in alfalfa leaves showed:under drought stress the content of ABA and IAA in the leaves of alfalfa increased and the content of GA3 and ZR decreased at different extent. The general trend of coordination among four endogenous hormoneswas closing the stoma and promoting the growth of root.Under severe drought stress, the trend of coordination among four endogenous hormones in the leaves of alfalfa indicated Longdong(strong drought-resistance alfalfa)had higher coordination ability in reducing growth rate to ensure surviving to avoid the damage of lack of water effectively.
