Residue Trial of Chlorpyrifos in Wheat and Soil

Abstract: Supervised residue experiments for chlorpyrifos in wheat and soil were conducted in suburbs of Beijing and Wuhan.The results showed that half-life of chlorpyrifos in wheat and soil were 2.5-4.2 days and 3.7-9.5 days,respectively.The insecticide of chlorpyrifos was applied as spray according to the recommended dosage,the final residue did not exceed maximum residue limit established by EU at harvest time,which ensured edible safety of wheat.
