The Research on Genetic Model of Nuclear Male Sterile Character in Qingmaye Type of Chinese Cabbage

Abstract: 2 AB lines of Qingmaye type of Chinese cabbage, 4 temporary maintainer lines and 26 fertile lines were used as materials.Genetic model of nuclear male sterile character in Qingmaye type of Chinese cabbage was checked by crossing, selfing, test crossing and fertility checking. The fertile gene types of main Qingmaye type inbred lines were checked. The result showed that genetic model of nuclear male sterile character in Qingmaye type was same as Multiple Allele Hypothesis for Male Sterility in Chinese Cabbage. In main Qingmaye type inbred lines, the proportion of inbred lines which gene type was msms was largest(65.4%), the proportion ofinbred lines which gene type was Ms~fms was smallest(7.7%), the proportion of inbred lines which gene type was Ms~f Ms~f was between them(26.9%).
