Study of New Type Cytoplasmic Male Steril a on Chinese Cabbage Transferred from CMS 96

Abstract

Abstract: ABrassica napizs cytoplasmic male sterile material CMS96 with 26 dilferent Chinese cabbage materials are crossed and back-crossed,and attained 5 different types of cytoplasmic male sterile of Chinese cabbage(including orange and yellow heading leaves color) sucxeessfully .Those materials are stable in sterility,common in nectary, strong in vigor and uniform in plants. They are better cytoplasmic male sterile materials.The degree and percentage of male sterility are 100 percent.We cross some new F₁ hybrids using these materials now.
