Abstract: Effects of salt stress with different concertrations on POD isoenzyme of winter wheat roots in three-leaf stage were studied by PAGE. The results showed: in the case of 1 mg/g NaCl, the isoenzyme bands were two more than control in region A, and 1-3 more than control in region B, the stem height and spike length of varieties with three new bands were higher than that of those with one new band in region B. In the case of 2 mg/g NaCl, comparing with control, the number of isoenzymes bands was no difference in region A, but three new bands appeared in region B.
