Abstract: The interaction among water, nitrogen and phosphorus was studied in light loam meadow soil on the Beijing suburb plain. The results indicated that the most important factor is water, followed by nitrogen and phosphorus in increasing wheat yield. There were interactions between fertilizers and water. Water was less affected by fertilizers, while fertilizers were more affected by water. The interaction between water and phosporus was bigger than that between water and nitrogen.
