Abstract: Through combining the two procedures of the synthesis of monosomic lines of wheat and the synthesis of a set of chromosome substitution lines by use of recipient cultivar monosomic lines, a new substitution method is suggesed by using a(or any) set of monosomic lines as bridge monosomic lines, the aim chromosome can be substituted into any recipient cultivar. The new substitution method can solve the problem that before the chomosome substitution lines are synthesized the set of recipient cultivar lines must be monosomic. This method can cut the synthesis time down to half its length.
