Abstract: Calluses and green plants were obtained from anthers of the F₁ hybrid between Tetraploid Durum wheat and Hexaploid Common wheat. Different media had the significant difference on the induction of the pollen colluses and plants. Good results were obtained an C₁₇ and B₅ media. Different genotypes produce different results in the induction frequency of calluses and green-plants even on the same medium. The induction of the pollen-plant was highly influenced by the growing conditions of the plant and the biological characters of the supplier plant. High induction frequency of green plants was obtained from the anthers of plants which grew under natural conditions.
