Abstract: The patternized cultivation techniques for the high yield of spring sown soybeans in the semi-arid region of Middle Shanxi Province were studied. A functional model for production centered on high yield was preliminarily established, and a program for controlling quantitative high-yielding cultivation techniques was made. Effects of single facfor and two factors on yield were analyzed. The effects of 5 main factors on yield were as follows(in order of importance), development period of variety, application rate of N fertilizer, planting density, application rate of P fertilizer, coverage of film mulching. In the model, there were 10 items showing the interaction of 2 factors, among which 5 reached the significant level, i.e. planting density and N application rate, plantig density and varietal development period, planting density and P application rate, planting density and film mulching coverage, film mulching coverage and P application rate.
