Abstract: The objective of this article was to screen the drought resistance identification indexes and build evaluation system of peanut. In this study,a RIL population consisting of 177 lines which were planted in well-watered and drought stress environments in 2 years was analyzed based on 22 agronomic traits and 2 physiological characters. To detect the drought-resistant identification indexes, the correlation between these traits and the drought coefficient were analysis. The results showed that the correlation between drought coefficient and stress index of number of branch, number of bearing branch, number of bearing node, number of pods per plant,100-seed weight, comprehensive appraisal D value of chlorophyll content and canopy temperature were showed significant level. So these 7 traits can be used to screen drought-resistant germplasm.Drought-resistant germplasm were identified using a minimum drought coefficient score of 1.1.Using this criterion, steady drought tolerant lines L19,L121,L146 in the population were screened out.

Key words: Arachis hypogaea, Drought resistance, Drought coefficient, Stress index, Comprehensive appraisal
