Abstract: The aim of the present study was to compare the effects of oocytes grade on the rate of in vitro maturation, and the effect of the FSH-primed follicles on the numbers and quality of collecting oocytes. The result showed that:Oocytes grade had significant effects on the rate of in vitro maturation, grade A and B oocytes showed significantly higher percentage of maturation than that of Grade C,whatever the oocytes from the FSH-primed goats or from?slaughthouse ovaries(P<0.01). There was no signficent difference between Grade A and B oocytes. Ovaries source?had significant effects on the numbers and quality of collecting oocytes,FSH-primed ovaries was higher than slaughthouse ovaries, whatever the the percentage of Grade A and B oocytes in the total ones(P<0.05),the numbers of?total oocytes(P< 0.05) and Grade A and B oocytes (P< 0.05) from each ovary. Ovaries source had significant?effects on percentage of maturation, oocytes recovered from the FSH-primed goats showed significantly higher percentage of maturation than that of oocytes from slaughthouse ovaries(P<0.01).
