Abstract: 20%PEG-6000 was used to induce water stress in laboratory, the germinating potential, germination rate, coleoptile and root lengths were measured. Then drought resistance of Shanxi wheat landraces at sprouting stage were analyzed by fuzzy subordinate function analysis combined drought resistance coefficient. Finally, the relationship between each morphological index and drought resistance was established using grey correlative degree analysis. The results indicated that the germinating potential, germination rate, coleoptile and root length of each landrace were decreased or shortened than those of the control under drought stress, and difference among wheat landraces were significant or remarkably significant, and that drought resistance at spouting stage in different landraces were Baiheshangtou >Jinmai47>Zhuganqing > Siyuehuang>Xiaohongmai>Denglonghong >Hongpidongmai >Xinxiandongmai> Zhongmai 9 Baiheshangtou Was highly resistant to drought at sprouting stage and would be used as a good germsplasm in wheat breeding,an that degree of correlation between 4 morphological indexes and drought resistance was germination rate>root length>coleoptile length>germinating potential.hence germinating rate could be a useful morphological index of drought resistance.
