Abstract: Micro-Tom is a miniature dwarf tomato, which can grow at a high density, has a short life cycle, and can be transformed efficiently. As a result, it became a new model p lant for functional genomics study. Co-cultivation time on regeneration, effects of AS on the regeneration frequency, Agrobacterium titer and GFP exp ression, antibiotic concentration selection were studied to establish stable p rotocol. It indicated that the average T2DNA inserted sites were 118 and positive rateswere 7213% through PCR detection.

Key words: Micro-Tom, Model plant, Agrobacterium tumefaciens, Genetic transformation
