Abstract: Cytogenatic technique was used to identify two Triticum aestivum一Elymus rectisetus (Nees in Lehm)A. Love et Connor derivatives.Additionally, their cytogenetic stability, resistance to powdery mildew, high-molecular-weight sub-unit of glutenin (HMW-GS),and morphologic were studied. Chromosome numbers in the root tips and chromosome configu-ration at PMC MI of two derlvatives were 2n= 44 and 2n=22 II. Chromosome configurations at PMC MI of hybrid Fl be-tween two derivatives and Fukuhokomugi were 2n=20 Ⅱ+3 I.The results showed that two derivatives were Triticum aes-tivum一Elymus rectisetus alien substitution addition lines. It was found that E.rectisetus accession 1050was highly resis-tant to powdery mildew, and two alien substitution addition lines and Fukuhokomugi were high1y susceptible. Two lines was the same HLVIW-GS as Fukuhokomugi.

Key words: Elymus rectisetus, Cytogenctics, Alien substitution addition lines, HMW-GS
