Analysis of Agronomic Characters of Common Wheat Triticale Progeny

Abstract

Abstract: Twenty four strains of the hybrid progeny of common wheat { [ (A) jingyin39A×75-3369] A²×806}A⁷×7269-10 and trit icale were studied and analyzed on their agronomic characters.Many variations were found superior to their parent insuch straits as insect tolerance, effective tiller, growth season, plant height and 1000grain weight, which widened the genetic resources for traditional breeding of wheat.These materials were useful for the selection of new lines.They were aset of progeny of distant hybridizations of great selective value.
