Effect of Polychrestic Agricultural Nourishing Paper Membrane(PanPM)on the Growth and Blooming of Tomato and Cucumber

Abstract

Abstract: Nourishing paper membranes were used as a mulching in this experiment to evaluate their effects on the growth and blooming of tomato and cucumber.The growth parameters,root number(diameterM>1mm), bloom parameters as well as the content of soil organic substances and soil microbes were examined.The result showed that, comparing with the plastic mulching, the PanPM mulching could raise the content of soil organic substances,decrease the ratio of plant T/R,promote the plant growing and blooming,and control the pathogenic fungi in soil.
