Abstract: Characters selected with 3 different methods, and 31 wheat lines grown in 4 different cultivated conditions are used to study the stability of distance analysis under different environmental conditions. The results indicates1. The correlation coefficients of genetic distance under different environmental conditions closely relate to the selected characters. Bigger correlation coefficients can be obtained by the broad heritability method.2. The results of clustering analysis can vary under different environmental conditions. However, stability does exist in some lines.3. There is no clear correlation between the stability of clustering analysis results and the stability of the lines.
